1. Bwindi impenetrable National Park
Bwindi impenetrable National Park is located in south western Uganda and located next to the Albertine Rift. The Albertine Rift forms part of Africa's western rift and is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the whole of Africa. This means Bwindi impenetrable National Park is home to both endemic species and some of the most endangered animals in the world . The park or βimpenetrable forestβ consists of rolling hills covered in dense rainforest. It is most famous for 1 set of inhabitants - 400 Gorillas, which is almost half the world's population.

Do I need a visa for Uganda?
If you are going on Safari in Uganda, you will need to get a Visa. You can either apply for a visa at the Uganda high commission or online for an e-visa. A standard tourist visa for Uganda, will allow you entry for up to 90 days into the country. A visa for Uganda will cost you about Β£40 and to be on the safe side ensure you apply at least a couple of weeks before travelling, however turn around can be as quick as 3 days if no extra information is requested.
What vaccines do I need for Uganda?
You will need a range of vaccines to travel to Uganda, some routine and some more specific to the region. The WHO recommends you get the following vaccines if travelling to Uganda: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis and tetanus.
